Reach the opponent's den (gold square) or capture all their pieces. Higher-ranked animals capture lower ones — except the Rat, which can capture the Elephant. Only the Rat may swim. Lion and Tiger jump the rivers (blocked by a Rat in the water). Pieces in an enemy trap can be captured by anything. Click a piece, then a highlighted square.
